The event was a resounding success, bringing together 88 golfers and their partners for a memorable weekend combining a love of golf with a passion for South Africa’s natural heritage.
BirdLife South Africa was delighted to support the event through the sponsorship of African Birdlife magazines, which formed part of the event’s offering to participants. It was wonderful to see our magazine reaching an audience that shares our appreciation for South Africa’s incredible wildlife and natural spaces.
Events such as the Skukuza Golf Challenge highlight the important role that partnerships play in supporting conservation. The SANParks Honorary Rangers make an invaluable contribution to the work of South African National Parks, with volunteers supporting conservation initiatives and helping to promote the protection of our national parks.
BirdLife South Africa is proud to support organisations such as the SANParks Honorary Rangers and to contribute, in our own way, to their ongoing efforts to safeguard South Africa’s natural heritage.
We congratulate the Pretoria Region of the SANParks Honorary Rangers on another successful event and thank them for the opportunity to be part of the Skukuza Golf Challenge 2026.
