Flock to Pafuri with Duncan McKenzie
RETURN Africa has built a unique social partnership over three decades of friendship with the Makuleke people, and offers a superb safari experience.
We will be joined by BirdLife South Africa’s CEO, Mark D. Anderson, and Guest Lecturer Duncan McKenzie. Duncan McKenzie is a terrestrial ecologist whose professional work spans several countries, including Mali, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Morocco, Guinea, Lesotho, Eswatini, South Africa, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is a national Steering Committee member for SABAP2. Duncan is also a Trustee of the John Voelcker Bird Book Fund, publishers of the authoritative Robert’s bird books. In addition, he is the lead author of Robert’s Birds of the Greater Kruger National Park. Duncan has instructed on nearly 100 bird courses in Makuleke since 2012 and has an intimate knowledge of the area’s fauna and flora.
