If there’s one gift a birder wants to receive in the festive season (apart from more birds on their lifelist!), it’s this.
The 2027 Birds of Southern Africa calendar, produced in collaboration with Chamberlain, brings you 12 months of exceptional bird photography from across the subregion. From a Little Egret mid-strike to an Orange-breasted Sunbird on a protea, these images will brighten your days throughout 2027, and give you something extra to look forward to each month!
It’s large-format and generously sized at 35.5 cm x 30 cm, opening to 35.5 cm x 60 cm, printed on quality gloss art paper, with a big enough calendar section to be genuinely useful for pencilling in pelagic trips, atlasing weekends and that big Pafuri trip next December!
At R320 it’s excellent value, and buying one supports BirdLife South Africa’s conservation work. Order early to be sure of getting your copies before the festive season. They tend to go quickly, and one is never quite enough once other people in the family see it.
Three delivery options: collect from Isdell House, 17 Hume Road, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg; PostNet to PostNet at R95; or The Courier Guy Locker at R90.
